Mom's seasun has been developed to detect six high-frequency syndromes (Down, Edward, Patau & Turner, Klinefelter, and Triplex) among fetal chromosomal abnormalities in real-time PCR equipment using artificial synthesis PNA.
Mom’s seasun analyzes the fetus’s chromosomal copy number variants to calculate the risk of chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus.
In general, fetal chromosomes in pregnant women's blood are present in 1% of normal fetuses and 1.05% of abnormal chromosome fetuses, requiring high-resolution amplification techniques for analysis.
In the case of Mom’s seasun Patio technology, the fetal chromosome detection resolution is increased by up to 50% or more by applying an erasing probe, and accurate and rapid inspection is possible with real-time PCR, a generalized molecular diagnostic method without expensive NGS equipment.
Also, it is a dedicated program that applies analysis algorithms verified by domestic clinical trials, enabling accurate digitization and analysis of abnormalities.
